As of March 12, 2020, Nevada is now under a state declared Emergency in response to the Corona Virus pandemic. This state of emergency is an attempt to slow the spread of Corona Virus by limiting face to face personal contact, and includes language which requires certain businesses, deemed Non-Essential, to close and cease operations during the state of emergency. Also included in the order are directions to practice social distancing which requires 6-foot clearance between persons, and directions to essential businesses to practice increased levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
By order of Governor Sisolak, as of March 20, 2020, Nevada has formalized the state of emergency by amending state laws and regulations, with specific instructions and details of which businesses have been declared either Essential or Non Essential. The good news is that legal services are classified as Essential Businesses, and our firms remain open during this time.
