The Las Vegas metro police will be conducting a DUI checkpoint in northeast Las Vegas on Saturday night, Cinco de Mayo. The checkpoint will be from 7 p.m. and go until 3 a.m. on Charleston Boulevard at Arlington Street.
The Las Vegas PD will be focusing on drunk drivers as well as drug impaired drivers. The reason the LVMPD chose this particular area is because it has seen 67 car accidents, and 12 alcohol related incidents in the last 90 days.
