Las Vegas Metro Police are planning a DUI checkpoint on Halloween night.
The checkpoint will be located at 755 East Flamingo Road between 7 p.m. Wednesday night and 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
Officers will be checking for drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Metro said there will be extra patrols around the city to keep an eye out for impaired drivers.
Halloween as turned into one of the deadliest holidays of the year because of all the drinking that takes place.
