It is a holiday weekend and that means many people will be celebrating with a few cocktails or beers.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will be on the lookout for drunk or impaired drivers and will set up a sobriety checkpoint tonight.
The check point will take place in the southeast part of the valley in an area that LVMPD says has seen too many crashes involving impaired drivers.
It will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and continue until 3 a.m. Saturday.
