How do you pay for a speeding ticket if you’ve received a citation in Las Vegas or surrounding Clark County, Nevada? There are several resources to assist you in that process, and most can be found online. Your ticket will show you the court your case will be heard, and on what date you are expected to appear. Be sure to resolve your ticket before the noted date, or you will face the possibility of arrest.
How Do I Know Which Court Handles My Ticket?
The court you’re assigned to appear in is largely determined by where you were when you received your ticket. If you were within city limits, and the city has a municipal court, you will most likely appear in that court. If you were ticketed outside city limits in Clark County, you will most likely appear in Las Vegas Justice Court, but there are 11 justice courts in Clark County, so it’s important to know which one in case you decide to appear. Las Vegas Justice Court is by far the largest of the justice courts in the county. In most cases, the officer will point out the court in which you are required to appear, but if the officer doesn’t, the ticket will have the court name, location and contact information displayed.
