Democratic State Assemblyman Joseph Hogan was arrested and charged with DUI las Wednesday, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
The arrest took place on Tam Drive near Industrial Road and Sahara Avenue.
According to police, Hogan was swerving and failed to stop at a stop sign when officers pulled him over. He was then given a field sobriety test which he failed. The officers smelled alcohol on him during the arrest.
Hogan was taken to the Clark County Detention Center where he was given a blood test, the results won’t be available for 6 weeks.
Joseph Hogan represents Clark County’s District 10.
