Las Vegas Metro police will be targeting drunken driving as part of a Super Bowl Sunday sobriety checkpoint.
Police said officers will try to spot drug and alcohol impaired driving as well as underage drinking.
The checkpoint is being planned from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. near the intersection of Boulder Highway and Mayorga Street.
The event is being sponsored by the Enforcing Under Age Drinking Laws Grant, Metro said.
